Château Moulin de la Rose 2012
Nestled between 5 different Grand Cru vineyards, and thereby sharing a very similar terroir to these top sites, Château Moulin de la Rose is a true hidden gem for lovers of bigger, robuster Bordeaux reds. Calling the storied Left Bank appellation of St Julien home, the wines of Château Moulin de la Rose are a truly hand-crafted, authentic expression of the Medoc. 2012 is a vintage known for its elegance and charm. A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot, the wine has taken on a gorgeous garnet colour. A nose of red rose, violet, blackberry, tobacco and violet are the prelude to a fresh and inviting palate which is just starting to pleasantly soften. A stunning pair with game, grilled meats or poultry.
